Twig&Tansy: Behind The Phrase

While creating and placing this site together, piece by piece it had occurred to me that while I had my basic elements covered, I had neglected to properly name this site. The first few thoughts that came to mind were simply naming the site after myself, or creating a fusion of my name. However, I officially decided to settle upon the name, “Twig&Tansy”. I liked this name specifically for the amount of whimsy and fantastical elements that it seemed to conjure inside of my mind. I would say that the name is representative of how I currently feel about my creative process. I’ve begun to focus on many of the playful qualities within my work as of late.
